I just bought it and the meter is not working after the mileage got to 160000. I want to carry out over haul maintenance on it. I need steps by step on how to carry out servicing. When am driving the gear 1 don't move as expected until I move it to gear 2.

Have a trans guy check this sounds like there is internal trouble with trans. Also scan for codes.

We don't have that vehicle here in the US so we don't have specifics on it but that usually means you have to replace the dash cluster, assuming the speedometer is still working.

What do u mean by dash cluster. And what specifications do u have in the US.
Generally how oft should servicing be carried. When gear 1 of any automobile doesn't move well until u move to 2, what can be the likely causes. Thanks.T

From your description it sounds as if there is an internal trans problem so have a trans gy check this out. If it doesn't move in first then only in second something is wrong inside the transmission.

Is this correct

Change the oil and oil filter every 3,000 - 5,000 miles. I recommend EVERY 3,000 miles. Check your battery (charge it) every 6k or 6 months. Cooling system every 6k or 6 months (check), drive belt and tensioner check and replacement every 6k or 6 months, hose check and replacement every 6k or 6 months, Tire rotation every 6k or 6 months.

Stearing, suspension and driveaxle boot check - every 15k or 12 months

Brake check - Every 15k or 12 months

Exhaust system check - 15k or 12 months

Wiper Blade check/replacement - Every 15k or 12 months

Air filter check/replacement - 30k or 24 months

PCV valve check/replacement - 30k or 24 months

Spark plug check/replacement - Check your manuel

Fuel Filter - 30k or 24 months

Fuel system - 30k or 24 months

brake fluid - 30k or 24 months

Automatic trans fluid and filter - 60k or 48 months
