check engine light is on so I took it to an auto parts store

I have a 2005 Chevy Malibu. The check engine light is on so I took it to a auto parts store to have them put their computer on it to see what was the problem. Their computer showed error and could not read anything. I took it to two different auto store with the same results. Today I took it to a locksmith to get two key fob program and they put their computer on it and it would not do anything. A quick check with their computer showed that I was not getting any power to the OBD under my dash. I was wanting to know what may be the problem? Is there a fuse that runs the obd port or something? Any help would be appreciated.
