I have a 2005 Equinox and my power sunroof is stuck in the vent position. At first it wouldn't slide open it would only vent open and close, now nothing. I checked the fuse and replaced the switch, but still no luck. When I use the switch I can here a clicking from behind the sunroof. Any Ideas, and can I manually close it until I can afford the repait?

It sounds like the cables are not working together and it is jammed. You need to acess the track assembly. When you do, you will be able to remove the motor and close the window. Then put it back and when you can you will need a new track assembly.

I had the same problem went and got it checked the motor went for the sunroof so they told me it would cost me 700. To get it fixed that wont happen so I had them close it up and disconnect it.
