When I start the car a motor or pump or something runs a short time in the rear of the vehicle and shuts off (stabilizing system or something). Now the noise continues for long periods and shuts off for only short pierods.
I'm afraid I'm going to burn something up. Sounds like a little air compressor or something.

That would explain the noise and if it is running too much, the rear shocks are leaking
