My bmw 320i e90 2005 cranks but won't start, replaced fuel pump but still no solution though its on half tank

At fist we realised that on opening both sides of the fuel tank the left hand side was totaly dried up and the other side where the actual pump is was still full
,we then replaced the fuel pump but still doesnt fire up..

You need to check if the fuel pump is priming the system. Have you tested the fuel pressure?

Apart from fuel, it could be something else.
Are you get ignition sparks?
Was anything done prior to this occurring?
