My Vauxhall Corsa starts but litterally cuts out a second later, could this be down to the immoboliser?

I change the fuel filter last week as my car stopped building revs all of a sudden. Changing the filter sorted the problem, but now my car starts and cuts out instantly. Any help would be much appriciated.

Scan for codes and check fuelpressure first. This can be like an american GM car for immobiliser. Turn key on an dleav on for up to 10 minutes or until light goes out. Turn key off and then try to restart. Other than that we have no info for these cars.
