Hello I have a 2004 Corolla that fail inspection for code p0016 and code p0505. I was trying to fiknd out be fore I take car to mechanic estimated cost should be for repairs

IAC system fault for the P0505 and P0016 is crank/cam sensor correlation. It could range from a bad wire to bad sensors on the crank/cam sensors, and with the iac it could be dirty and locked up or it could be bad, so the prices are gonna range from cheap to not so cheap.

Oh could also have a jumped timing, when was the last time you had the timing belt replaced?
