Valve Noise

My 2004 Camry is making a noise that sounds like the valves, ususally on acceleration. I have checked and changed the oil and changed the plugs. What else could I check to discover and eliminate the noise?

Could be an oil pressure problem or excessive valve lash-you sure its not pinging

Not a ping. I have checked and changed the oil, changed the belt, and switch between 93 and 89 octane every other fill-up.
