2005 skoda fabia. Rear door lock fails to operate. How does one open the door?

The door fails to open both manually or with remote control

is this back door or side door? you may have to disassemble door panel.

I have the same problem.
I heard it is a sensor broken but if you open (and shut) the back door the rear will unlock.
