2004 SAAB 9-3 Repair Question

Radio-cd

I have a saab 93. 2004 conv.it was flooded whith water and my radio does not work, the machanic said that the c.m.i. serial number 12799617 was damaged, they said it would coct me 850.00 euros.i find that very expensive, could i find a second hand c.m.i.? and where is the c.m.i. located. thank you for your help.regards grecco.

You can only try a Saab wrecker, but second hand electrical components are never a good idea.

what's up as per your issue u will need to replace the amp located under the drivers seat ,note i am in the USA so my d/s is on the left ,MAKE SURE CARPET IS DRY FIRSTLY,& a good used amp is ok if u can get one ,check this place called GOLDWING SAAB look them up on web ,they will ship anywhere u r ,good luck.
