2004 Pontiac Grand Spray Intake Starting Fluid Start Car Just Replace Fuel

I have to spray my intake with starting fluid to start my car.. I just replace my fuel filter and pump yesterday... The car was completely dead before that it wouldn't start at all and now I still have to spray it one time after it sits for a while. What could be causing this?

DOes it run good after the prime?Have you checked to see if your fuel pressure is bleeding down?Any codes in the computer?

Yes the car runs fine after that... I only have to spray it in the morning after sitting all night and at night after sitting while at work... Codes on computer pop up cold coolant thermostat.. How do I check that... I'm trying to learn.

Please give me the exact code numbers you have not code descriptions?I think that will lead us to the problem you have.

I do not have exact code numbers... I also Just changed the spark plugs and wires yesterday..

You could have a bad coolant temp sensor can you get the codes read and let me know the exact code numbers?

The sensors are pretty cheap can you please get me the codes that would really help instead of just guessing.
