Pontiac Grand Am Noise Problem
My car is making a chirping noise i think it might be the crankshaft but am unsure if that is what wrong. it is a consent noise

A crank won't churp. Try this. Start the engine and open the hood. Take a small amount of water and pour it on the serp belt. Does the noise change? NOTE: Water will spray back at you so protect your eyes and wear old clothes.
