Pontiac Bonneville Sensor Problem

I just bought the car and has code for Knock sensor bank 2. I know where sensor is but there is only an eight inch light blue wire hooked to it with nothing at other end wire. I have checked engine harness in and out trying to find identical colored wire with no luck. Does it change to another color, or hook in with another color. Or is it needed at all, maybe it is a computer program issue? any help would be greatly appreciated.

I see it changing to light blue and goes straight to the pcm you need that sensor hooked up.
