Thank you for your response but i do not trust this hdi turbo engine i've spent a lot of money on this engine and now it sits at the back of my house with the engine seized due to turbo sucking up sump oil, i've had peugeots since 1986 all with 1.9 diesels with out any machanical failure, thats why i wandered if it was possible to replace the 307 HDI, with the 1.9 desel, and what i would need to change(loom ecu etc)
