2004 Nissan altima 2.5 when start driving automatic transmission only shifts 2 Times and no more if I stomp on gas still wont shift. Service engine light on scanner read only 1 code p0507

That code isn't for the trans. It is for the idle control system. As far as the trans, without a code, it becomes a guessing game. Based on your description, it could be several things. Is the fluid clean and full?

It could have to do with a shift solenoid, a problem with the valve body, transmission pressure, governor.
