2004 Mercury Marquis Repair Question

Ok, here we go. Head lamps wont come on with the switch on the dash, only parking lights.

Now, the funny part is that when I pull the signal lever toward me like flashing high beams, they will light up, but when I push it away from me to use high beams, they will not light up.

check fuses 6-15-16-18-24-26 in junction box by steering wheel under dash and fuse 11 by battery junction box. these are all for the headlights. it could also be a module, or switch.

okie dokie, Isn't the brights coming on with the lever pulled vs being pushed kinda weird though.

you could have a burnt out bulbs or the multifunction sowitch may be bad. check hte headlight grounds too they are by the headlights, black wire.

check the dimmer switch on the column.for voltage when you operate it.they get hot and burn up.

This sounds like the the relay in the LCM Module. Get a refurb LCM or replace the Relay part number NEC EQ1-11111s.
