2004 Infiniti G35 Repair Question

Infiniti G35 Heater Problem
AC / Heater Auto feature does not work properly. It only works in the manual mode. It does not work properly by which it cools or heats by the auto feature. It has to be set @ 60 or 71. It only blows @ the maximum in the auto setting / mode. what could possible be the problem?

a shop with a scan tool can acess the hvac system, look for codes and monitor the system operation. guessing from here with little info would be pure speculation.
