my 2004 Hyundai Santa fe is stuck on drive and one first gear what can I do to fix this problem ?

Check the linkage and the cable at the shifter and the transmission for loose or broken parts. When you have the cable loose at the transmission make sure it is going all the way into the detent, which you can feel.
