Car no good petrol return only 22mpg its sheite

Accent returning only 22mpg on long or short drives i have tried everything you lot are my last hope i hope you can give me some idea what is wrong with this lump of useless metal.Hope the us guys can help an irishman at the end of his patience.BARRY CORK CITY IRELAND'

You can start by giving it a major tune-up-that don't work-have the wheel alignment, suspension, brakes, transmission and engine management system checked for problems

what have you tried? new MAF and or OX sensor?

fully serviced,tuned by main dealer all sensors checked,no smoke when starting from cold very lively on motorway,i think it is a dud car.
