2004 Honda Accord Repair Question

Honda Accord Noise Problem
This is an engine noise issue.
My 2004 Accord makes a whining noise on start up and the noise inceases with acceleration and turning. The noise completely disappears once the engine has warmed up. The noise will not occur at all if the outdoor temperature is over 50 degrees.
No warning light comes on nor has the engine ever stalled. It runs beautifully.
My Honda mechanic cannot find the problem.

did you check as i asked before for the power steering pump??
