Does it crank/turn over but just not run? Or does it do nothing? Do the dash warning lights come on? Other electric working?

She is not exactly correct the truck will engage the starter briefly and then it will spin off I had it tested at autozone and they said it was good I checked the grounds cleaned everything off and all connection and reinstalled looked at starter gear seems ok and looked as best I could at flywheel gear and you can see some scaring but it is ok I am not sure if the test at autozone was not accurate but the only think I can think of now is the gear is not coming out enough or all of a sudden out of nowhere it is going out too far and I need to shim it but I got not warning it just started happening and usually when that happens its the starter any other suggestions.

Sounds like your starter DRIVE GEAR is shot. The 1 way clutch is worn out. They dont test that.
