Ford F-150 Engine Problem

When i had my f150 in for a oil service at the ford dealership they left the oil fill cap off . i drove like this for 1800 miles and 2 months . would you be concerned that dirt or moisture will damage my engine. what would you do . ( i found the fill cap still in the motor compartment and put it back on)

There's air circulating through the engine anyway to draw out blowby fumes. It's more common, especially on smaller engines, for the oil to spray out all over the hood and engine. If that didn't happen, I would mention it at your next oil change, but after 1800 miles I don't think I'd be too concerned. I drove my Grand Caravan with no cap for about ten miles while I was driving down the road, . . . looking for my oil cap that I forgot to put on!
