2004 Ford Explorer Repair Question

Car wouldnt start so alternator and battery was replaced...3 days later car stalled and had to have the crsnkshaft pulley and sensor replaced...second

My 2004 explorer was replaced with a new alternator and battery. Three days later the crankshaft pulley fell off. Coincidence?

Can't see any effect to crank pullt replacing ALT and BATT. Did bolt shear? backoff?
