2004 Dodge Neon Repair Question

Dodge Neon Coolant Problem

My car over heats and my oil lite is on . i just put a quart of oil in it and i just put coolant in to i started my car to let it flow but my tempeture still reads hot. now i dot what looks like oil in my coolant whhat should i do and can u tell me whats wrong

sounds like a head gasket but the oil light is the killer. you may need a replacement motor at this point

now the light went off but the temp went all the way down to cool but its steadily rising whats that mean

the same answer. you most likely have a blown head gasket and an oil pressure issue
