Durango won't start

I have a 2004 Dodge Durango..... it won't start. The lights come on and heater comes on but it won't start

Is the starter working to turn the engine?

It turns and the lights come on and heater comes on but justs doesn't start or even make a noise!

Okay, I'm confused. Does if the starter "turns" the engine, that is a noise. You ended with "...doesn't start or even make a noise." Is the starter working? I need to know what area of the vehicle I am dealing with.
