Ok this is whats going on

Ok this is whats going on. It's pretty intresting. This 04's t&c motor Is losing oil 1 qt every thousand miles. Everybody will say thats normal but to me its not.I had maybe 5 to 10 used cars good to excellent condtion, growing up and they only burnt one qt every 2500 miles. I've been reading online about this problem and everybody is saying it may be blow-by because there is no oil leaking on the ground and plus my catalytic converter just went bad. I read online other people that have this type of car had to change the catalytic converter three times so my question is, Would it be necessary to change my catalytic converter with that oil getting thrown into the catalytic converter from the blow-by? Chrysler did not change this motor design until 2011. That makes me angry.
