I have a after the the engine has been higher than 1000 rpms then then slow down under 1000 rpms the oil light indicator goes on. the oil level is fine. could this be some type of air pressure problem?
I have a 2004 PT Cruiser after the the engine has been higher than 1000 rpms then then slow down under 1000 rpms the oil light indicator goes on. The oil level is fine. Could this be some type of air pressure problem?

Check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge to rule out the oil pressure switch
