Volvo S40 Compression Problem
I got misfire cly 3 all new wires plugs coils move wire from 3 to 2 drive come back cil 4 misfire change back drive come back cly 1 misfire intermittant misfire all the time driving me nuts

check fuel pressure first if low will cause this. also check compression 43.5psi while idling

Also what type of plugs did you use? This Volvos for some reason dont like spark plugs other then Volvo plugs. If you have something else, install the Volvo plugs. If you have everything Volvo the coil connector harness is probably bad. There is a capacitor in that harness that goes bad. You can replace the wire harness. Volvo has it for under $100 bucks I believe. Try it out and let us know how it goes. Good luck to you.
