Volkswagen Golf Transmission Problem
Hi there my gearbox failed so i have replaced it with a new one now my car will not go into gear and i cant press the clutch pedal down did i do something wrong in reassembly ?

Did you clamp the hydraulic hose?

Is this a manual transmission? If so, do you get a grinding sound from the transmission when you try to shift? Also, can you place it in gear with the engine off?
