My 2003 jetta gli i think is having a relay problem. the lights that suppose to come off but doesnt and sometimes it does. Also it doesnt honk when i lock it then sometimes it does. what cuold this be. I think this is the reason for my check engine light

It could be something with a relay. Have you checked them?
