Car can't speed to maximum, when I got this car as a used car early this year, I was able to speed to maximum speed of 110mph now it seems I can't do that even on overdrive it on hit
Max of 90mph. I don't understand what may be causing this

Do you have a check engine light and when was last tune-up?

Probable causes could be caused by one of the following below

Oxygen sensor.
Catalytic converter.
Fuel injectors dirty/sticking.
Mass airflow sensor/Airflow meter.
Throttle position sensor.
Crankshaft position sensor
Knock sensor
Manifold absolute pressure sensor.
EGR Valve
Fuel pressure regulator leaking or defective fuel pump.
Fuel contamination.
Foul/defective spark plugs.
Open spark plug wires.
Ignition coil/Coil packs defective.
Incorrect ignition timing.
Cap and rotor.

Note:If it doesn't apply disregard it and keep testing.

@dna. You mean regular oil change. Well that is not long ago. I have made 2500 miles they oil. Aside that I haven't done any servicing

Am not sure but will have it checked. Cos sometimes I don't like the way it shifts. Can you advice me maintaining my 03 corolla or getting a used 5000 miles KIA soul. Am confused.
