I have a an engine problem, its a tapping or clicking noise. The oil has been changed along with some STP oil. The noise seems to grow when you step on the acellerator. Need some advice as to what could be the couse of this problem. Proper maintenance has been kept on this car as you can see the miles accomulated until now.

I would venture to say that the valves need to be adjusted but it could be other things like loud solenoids in your injectors which would mean that it is completely normal.

Watch this youtube video, does it sound similar?

Is the noise coming from the top or bottom of the engine?
