Does the head have to pulled to replace the lifters?
Valves need replacing---making a lot of noise

For the 2 litre engine, Not the head but the engine is removed the sump removed front engine cover both timing chains and cams and over head gear, this is a fairly major job. ther are a number of precautions in removing and installing lash adjusters.
