Gas smell

My 2003 subaru forster 2.5 x has started burning oil as of late, in addition in the last week, after warming up my car before I go anywhere, when I get into the car there is a strong smell of gas that dissipates after driving a few miles. There is no puddle of any gas leaking under my car. What might it be?

Could be burning rich due to the following below:

1.Excessive fuel pressure can be cause by restricted fuel return line
2.Defective Oxygen Sensors.
3.Leaking injectors and fuel pressure regulator.
4.Coolant temperature sensor out of calibration.
5.Restricted air intake system.
