Sound's like you have a fuel leak can you smell it outside your car or under the hood?

Is the smell stronger in the front of the car or the rear of the car when your outside of it?

Front of the car --- I do not usually see a leak but the ground was wet yesterday and I saw a rainbow (gas probably). Can't see anything when it is dry.

Gas will evaporate though in a short time there isn't a whole lot place's it could be leaking from under the hood. Your going to have to have it run while you look for leak's gas leak's are no fun and there dangerous you could have a fire from it.I have seen that happen more then once.

Tell him to be very careful when he is looking for the leak. One thing he might try is to start the car for a few second's and shut it off and while the fuel line is pressurized and see if he can find the leak. If not he will have to try to find it while it's running.
