Replacing Air Bag Control Module
What's involved in replacing an Air Bag Control Module in a 2003 Pontiac Montana? Can I just buy a used one off eBay and install it myself?

Why? is there a code? would not trust ebay with my life. which module driver, pass or side?

The airbag light is on, and mechanic says it needs new module - $400. Nordstroms Automotive Inc sells it on eBay for $95
I don't know which side needs to be replaced (can check with mechanic) but I wanted to know if it's feasible for me to do it myself.

Not to difficult just need to be careful so don't deploy air bag. Code will tell which one
