2003 Pontiac Grand Prix T Get Starter Turn Over Start Engine Using Key Jump

I can't get the starter to turn over to start the engine using the key BUT I can jump start the starter using a screwdriver and shorting it between the 2 connectors.The battery is fully charged and the relay and fuse in the fuse panel under the hood are good. It was intermittent starting for a couple of weeks but if you held the key on in the start position it would start. Thanks JEFF
