Car will fire but will not stay running

The check engine light comes on and it wont start at all, then i'll quickly turn the key off and then back on and it will turn over for a few cranks, fire and then die and the check engine light will go back off until I reset the key to do it again.

The car was having trouble starting and then die when I would put it in gear, but it would always kick back on and I wouldn't have any problems for a couple days or so. It did this occasionally for the past couple weeks. Check engine light came on at one point and had it checked, was coded for emission problem but it was just the gas cap and the light went back off.

Have it scanned for codes and check the fuel pressure first.

Sorry for the delayed reply had to wait for money, came up as P0133 error, so I replaced the 02 sensor, and now it won't even fire up. Check engine is still on but code reader is coming up with nothing. How do I check fuel pressure?

Turn the key on and mke sure you have a gauge on the fuel rail there is a connection for it

No reading whatsoever, the hand on the gauge didnt move at all

Haveit checked for a bad fuel pump or regulator.
