Headlight upgrade
Hi all
Am Simon from Nairobi. I have a problem with my 2003 Nissan Advan/Wingroad in that the headlights are 55/60 watts and they appear too dim especially at night in poorly lit roads or in bad weather. I talked to a friend who told me I can upgrade the bulb to 90/100 for more light. How can I upgrade the light safely without overloading the wiring? Kindly help.

You need to rewire the headlight with additional relays for the higher capacity bulbs. The kit is readily available at most parts stores, however quality seems to be a problem I always encounter.
Another minus factor would be the bulbs would discharge more heat and if your headlamp lenses are plastic, they would turn yellow faster.
