Why won't my car stay running?
I had my altenator replaced and now the car doesn't stay running(when initially started up) without pressing the gas pedal. Once the car is running it will remain running without pressing the pedal.
The check engine light was on previous to the altenator being replaced and I was told that it was an EVAP sensor.

that may be hanging open when it's not supposed to have it scanned again. although if your gas cap isn't tight it will do that, you should hear 3 clicks when you tighten it.
