When I turn the key, the lights come on and the electrical system seems normal, but there is nothing as far as the engine goes. No click, no roll over...... Yet, I can hit the remote start on the key fob and it is fine. It fires right up and runs normally. Now this morning is the first time I had that happen, so I am not sure if it is a continuing problem, but I did shut it off once I got to work (after a 35 minute drive) and tried to start with the key again and got the same results as earlier this morning.

Any thoughts on the matter?

If you are getting nothing with key (no rotation, no click) then fuse or key lock.

Most likely a failed ignition switch for the starting circuit.
