I have a 2003 Lincoln Navigator that the AC compressor won't engage. It has plenty of freon. Any suggestions?

We have plenty of freon. Checked for blown fuses, don't know how to reset the controler.

We checked the codes and it is coding B2477. So far it has alot to do with about everything but nothing mentioning about the ac part.
