2003 Lincoln Navigator Repair Question

Lincoln Navigator Hood Problem
My navi has a knocking sound under the hood on, drivers side. Doesn't change with rpm. Just stays the same constant ticking. I've had oil checked and it's fine. Any idea of what this may be caused from?
