I was driving the car on the freeway for about an hour, it was running perfectly fine. Then when I got off the exit ramp and came to a complete stop, the car died. It made no noise it was like I turned it off. I tried to restart it but it would not turn over, all the lights on the inside would work, but it would just make 2 small clicking noises. My boyfriend thinks it is the starter, but I am trying to get some sort of confirmation before we go and spend the money on a starter and that not be the problem

Before getting a starter, have the battery load tested at a parts store. Remove it from the car and recharge it then take it to a parts store to be checked. Most will do it for free.

Let me know what you find.
