I need to replace cig lighter assembly and can't get at female socket
The cig lighter is damaged and i need it to run 12v tire pump i have taken most of the interior apart and still can't reach area help

In almost all cases you will have to get behind the lighter as it has a threaded, nut, holding it in place. Sometimes you may be able to remove the piece of trim it is mounted in. Get a set of dentist picks from your local auto parts store as they will pry it out with the least damage.
