How do you replace a serpentine belt tensioner on a 2003 honda pilot? The pulley has rubber residue where it should be shiny, but it looks like it rolls fairly sooth.
Do you
have the same problem?

On this model Honda there is no bolt to release the tension and there are 3 bolts 2x10mm 1x8mm

this guide will help

https://www.2carpros.com/diagrams/honda/pilot/2003

The tensioner can then be removed by taking out the 2 holding bolts.

Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

Cheers
