Had the oil changed, but they did not reset the "oil life" button. So now it reads at 15%, when it is not. Every time I turn the car on, the warning light that the oil life is at 15% comes on! Called the dealership, they told me to hold the button down until it flashes, then, still holding the button, turn car off, then back on. It didn't work.
I know the oil isn't REALLY at 15%, but that light every time I turn the car on is annoying.

Hi EmzMom86,

The procedures must be accordingly before it would work. Try this.

Turn key on
Press knob to bring up oil life.
Hold down till back ground goes away and oil life/cancel come up  flashing.
Turn knob to bring oil life only.
Hold down again to get the reset of 100 %

Key off, hold in the reset button, turn key on with still holding it in till the light blinks and goes out, release, turn key off and then start it up
