I just bought a used 2003 Honda Accord Coupe as is sale. When I try to lock doors from button on drivers door nothing works. When I get outside and try to lock or unlock with remote nothing happens. I changed batteries in key and transmitter key fob, however still doesn't work. I'm concerned the alarm is not activating either since I can't use the remote.

I'm wanting to know if the key needs to be replaced, reprogrammed, or if you have any suggestions.

I hesitate to take to Honda dealer yet, which I will do if necessary. Appreciate any help
