The driver's side window squeaks (like nails on a chalkboard) when putting it up (electric window), but not when putting it down. The window does not seem to be sticking or grabbing on anything. Other than the squeaking noise, it seems to work fine. Any suggestions?

Check the moulding on side of door. It most probably is hardened causing the noise.

Previously checked the molding and the molding is not hard whatsoever - infact the molding is not only flexible, it is also lined with a felt-like material. Do you have another suggestion/answer to the squeaking window question?

The other area of noise emission would be from the door glass regulator. It is cable driven and that might require some lubrications. The door panel has to come off for that.
