Ford Taurus Cooling system Problem
My car is overheating pretty bad. like a quarter of an inch past the red line. makes a rattling sound when i accellerate, shakes while idoling. Heater does not work.

I guess you have no problem with buying a new motor because you probably ruined it the first time you drove it that way.
It's may be too late already but you need to pressure test the cooling system for leaks and repair them first
